Kate Marshall Ceramics
I am a potter who enjoys the thrill and magic of experimenting with raku – an ancient firing technique involving fire, smoke and water. Each piece is beautifully unique as the fire affects the glaze in many different ways and produces the most amazing colours, metallic flushes, or crackle. Please have a look at my photos for more information.
I have also been making more fish on driftwood sculptures this year, as well as some original earthenware dishes for food use.
Come along and you might see a throwing demonstration or a raku firing (weather permitting) and don’t forget to bring your completed Bear Trail forms at the end of the weekend.
