Stuart James Knowles
Stuart James Knowles paints highly distinctive paintings in oils inspired by man’s relationship with the horse and other creates. Being influenced and inspired by George Stubbs the 18th Century painter famous for his horse paintings and also more modern artist as Susan Rothenberg from New Mexico.
2011 was a busy year full of commissions. Stuart works from photographs and is happy to tackle any subject.
Along side his oil paintings this year Stuart has created a range of pencil studies of animals based around the Royal Bath and West Show.
