Joining Instructions
Deadline: Monday 10th March 2025
Thank you for taking an interest in joining the Bear Flat Artists.
There are two options to join us in 2025:
WEBSITE ONLY, where we will maintain your artist’s profile page for you or;
OPEN STUDIOS & WEBSITE, where you will be able to participate in the trail if you live in the Bear Flat Area or have been invited by another Bear Flat Artist to exhibit in their Bear Flat home.

Please review all of your answers carefully before submitting the form. Fields marked * are mandatory and must be completed.
Website and Brochure images
We receive over one hundred images during the trail application process. Chasing for correctly cropped files, titles of work, and correct image resolution is very time consuming. If any of the instructions below are unclear, please e-mail for advice before submitting.
For artists WITHOUT an existing Bear Flat Artists web page:
Please email FOUR images in SQUARE format to admin@bearflatartists.co.uk. Use JPEG files with the highest resolution possible (no less than 1Mb!). The main image is of you, you at work or your studio space, and the other three are of your work. Give each image a TITLE. In the e-mail please say which image is to be used for the printed BROCHURE and WEBSITE navigation.
For artists WITH an existing Bear Flat Artists web page:
You are welcome to e-mail new images to replace your existing or just send a new main BROCHURE image for this year.
The layout of an artist page can be found by browsing our existing artist profile pages.
The data and images you supply are for promotional material and may be edited to fit our house style and the requirements of our publishers.
By submitting this form you are agreeing that the relevant public data will be used on this website and in printed brochures and magazines such as Bath Life.
Payment
Note: PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE GROUP, YOU MUST LIVE IN THE BEAR FLAT AREA TO PARTICIPATE, OR HAVE BEEN INVITED BY ANOTHER ARTIST INTO THEIR HOME.
